Software Design Engineer (Receiver Management) :
Tasks:
** Take part in the complete development process, which includes design, implementation and verification
** Create technical documentation for developed features
** Implement new features according to a requirement specification and product plan
** Assist in definition and verification phase of new features
** Analyse feedback or non-conformities, provide work-arounds or develop bug fixes
Requirements:
** PhD or MSc in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Geodesy or Electrical Engineering
** Scientific and engineering skills (problem solving, data analysis, mathematical models)
** Experience with C programming in an embedded environment
** Ability to produce practical solutions to complex logic problems (eg satellite selection strategy)
** Ability to work as a member of larger projects; flexible team player
** Good analytical skills and English communication skills (verbal and written)
Experience in the following areas is desirable:
ARM CPUs (ARM7TDMI, CortexM3)
** GPS/GNSS Receivers
** Digital signal processing and satellite communications
** Perl or similar scripting language
** Subversion or other version control software
** MS Visual Studio or similar development environment
** Matlab or Octave

IC Quality and Reliability Engineer:
Tasks:
** Manage failure analysis of IC customer returns in accordance with customer expectations regarding cycle time and reporting
** Interface FAEs from all regions and define rules for receiving and analyzing customer returns
** Manage 8D procedure for customer returns cases escalated to Quality
** Compile 8D reports
** Interface R&D and our suppliers in order to initiate corrective action required by the individual cases
** Follow-up corrective actions initiated internally as well as with suppliers
** Coordinate physical failure analysis with external laboratories
** Support any sustaining activities to reliability planning/conduct testing to engage contractors to develop electrical schematics and build reliability test boards (such as HTOL, HAST)
** Planning and execution of ESD/LU tests for ICs
** Regular reporting regarding Quality and Reliability topics
** Analyze reliability test failures as well as Production Failures according to the competences on specific products.
Requirements:
** Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering
** Minimum 3 years experience in Quality &Reliability Engineering in the Semiconductor Industry
** Experience in Automotive industry (AEC-Q100, ISO/TS16949, PPAP, Control Plan, FMEA, MSA)
** Proven problem solving and decision-making skills
** Excellent user knowledge in statistics
** Demonstrated ability to work independently, proactively, and self-motivated
** Proficient in English
