Punjab Power Development Company Limited (PPDCL), a body corporate of Energy Department, Government of the Punjab established under Company Ordinance 1984 invites applications from suitable candidates domiciled in Punjab for appointment on contract basis for the following positions;
1. Project Manager (Thermal) :
(1 Post)
(Maximum Age limit 62 years)
Pay : Lump Sum Rs. 200,000/- Per Month – Inclusive of all allowances
Qualification :
Candidate should possess minimum Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized University in 1st division.
Experience :
Candidate
i) Should have the overall experience of more than 25 years of which at least 10 years in planning, design, procurement, construction, operation, monitoring and management of Thermal Power Projects.
ii) Should be competent in Financial Management of the projects (ADP, Local/Foreign Financing).
iii) Should have experience for implementation of thermal power projects under of donor agencies. iv) Must be well conversant with security packages.
v) Should have knowledge of latest Engineering codes of practices.
vi) Should be fully conversant with Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA/IEE) and Resettlement issues relating to thermal Power projects and of Donor’s requirementsregarding social aspects of projects.
vii) Should be fully conversant with generation license and tariff issues related to NEPRA/CPPA/DISCOs.
viii) Must be computer literate.
ix) Departmental officers are also eligible to apply and compete, but his appointment will be made by transfer.
2. Deputy Manager (Mechanical) :

Pay : Lump Sum Rs. 125,000/- Per Month – Inclusive of all allowances
Qualification :
Candidate should possess at least degree in B.Sc Mechanical Engineering
Experience :
10 years relevant experience.
(i) Construction &Operation of Coal, Gas, HSD, RFO Fired Power Plants.
(ii) Boiler Technology, Stem Turbine and allied equipments like OH Cranes.
(iii) CNC, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Control System
(iv) Project Management.
(v) Knowledge of relevant/ Applicable Standards, Boiler Technology, Steam Turbines and allied equipment.
(vi) Preparation of Review Reports.
3. Deputy Manager (Electrical) :
(1 Post)
(Max Age 50 yrs)
Pay : Lump Sum Rs. 125,000/- Per Month. – Inclusive of all allowances
Qualification :
Candidate should possess at least degree in B.Sc Electrical Engineering
Experience :
10 years relevant experience.
(i) Installation and Operation of Generators, Auto Transformers , SF6 Circuit Breakers, disconnections, Switchgear , Control andProtection System.
(ii) Synchronization of the existing system with NTDC Network.
(iii) Construction of Substation.
(iv) Project Management.
(v) Knowledge of relevant/ Applicable Standards.
(vi) Preparation of Review Reports.
4. Deputy Manager (Civil)

(Max Age 50 yrs)
Pay : Lump Sum Rs. 125,000/- Per Month – Inclusive of all allowances
Qualification :
Candidate should possess at least degree in B.Sc. Civil Engineering
Experience :
10 years relevant experience.
(i) Design and Construction Civil Structures for Power Projects, Substations. Construction of residential and non-residential buildings for Coal Fired Power Projects.
(ii) Construction of water channels, under-ground water resource utilization.
(iii) Project Management.
(iv) Knowledge of relevant/ Applicable Standards.
5. Record Keeper :

(Max Age 30 years)
Pay : Lump sum Rs 15000 Per-Month (Male/ )
Qualification :
Intermediate from a recognized Board at least in 1st division or equivalent
Experience :
Candidate
i) Must possess more than 2 years of record keeping in public or private sector.
ii) Possessing computer skill MS office will be preferred

2. Application must be submitted with attested copies of CNIC, educational qualifications, marks obtained in each examination with %age, experience certificates and domicile etc., Original certificates will have to be produced, as and when demanded.
3. The Maximum age will be calculated on the closing date of submission of application.
4. The above positions are on contract basis, for a period of one year extendable or otherwise as decided by Board of Directors (BoD) of the Company.
5. All candidates must be domiciled of Punjab Province.
6. No TA / DA will be paid to candidates called for the interview.
