Area Service Engineer :
We are looking for an experienced Area Service Engineer to work on all types of electronic security equipment. This role will be suited to somebody who has previously worked on CCTV, Access Control, EAS Equipment, Integrated Software Solutions Intruder alarms or similar security equipment.
This is a field-based role covering the Manchester area. Whilst the successful applicants will be based in this area in order to meet aggressive SLA’s, the area of coverage is not limited to Manchester and travelling further afield is to be expected.
Main Purpose Of Role :
** Amberstone Technology Limited a leading electronic technology solutions provider is looking for a talented Area Service Engineer join its team in the UK. The function of the Area Service Engineer is to act as the mobile field service engineer on assigned open jobs & work in collaboration with senior engineering staff members, Customer Service Centre & Logistics to resolve customer affecting technical issues in a timely fashion in order to maintain maximum customer satisfaction second to none.
** The Area Service Engineer installs, troubleshoots & maintains an extensive variety of products & equipment. Trains customers, identifies, analyses & repairs product failures, orders & replaces parts as needed.
** The employment offer to the successful candidate will be subject to passing a security clearance check, in line with industry standards.

Person Specification :
Qualifications, Training & Experience :-
** Must have either a recognised qualification or historic “on the Job” experience in the electronic security field.
** Valid driver’s licence, with a good driving record
** Good working knowledge of PC hardware & be PC literate
** Experience in a similar customer facing environment working to achieve customer service levels
** Commercial awareness is desirable
