Air Freight Export Co-ordinator :
Purpose of Job : (Objectives)
The responsibility of the Coordinator- Air Freight Export it to support overall local operational strategy and direction in accordance and alignment with the country strategy, all relevant company policies and expectations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
** Communicate and liaise with overseas network offices, agents and air/shipping lines to ensure destination services meet contractual requirements.
** Negotiate constantly air freight export/export buy rates
** Make sure that the correct buy rates in entered in the system
** Negotiate Ex-Works charges with agents, and set up tariffs
** Negotiate and set up gateways with agents for inbound and outbound.
** Make sure that the correct profit share is credited by the agent
** Check pre-alerts from overseas agents/stations, communicate with customer support and inform the Operations Department of the expected shipments (Pre-Alerts)
** Create new products in cooperation with the business development department (Sea/Air, Sea Consoles …)
** Set up schedules for import and export consolidation.
** Update the system with status of shipments
** Follow up the shipment till arrival at destination for export
** Follow up and make sure that the shipment moved as booked and follow up till arrival to Dubai / Kuwait and Bahrain for imports.
** Maintain relations with air lines and handlers like DNATA to ensure that our local operation is facilitated.
** Maintain relations with air lines and other freight forwarders for future collaboration of spot rates and requirements for obtaining their cargo and stock.
** Make sound, logical decisions pertaining to the day-to-day activities for the air freight department, consulting with senior management when necessary.
** Provide weekend or evening cover to monitor shipments as required.
** Ensure administration procedures are established and adhered to.
** Maintain all export shipment information in a timely and accurate manner.
** Liaise with other Logistica/Enkay Express office locations/agents for co-operative business and/or other inquiries.
To be aware of the Company’s Health & Safety policy and carry out your work in accordance with its requirements. To comply with all Company Policies and Procedures. Any other duties as reasonably requested.
Public Relations Officer : Kuwait
Key Functions:
Liaises with government entities, embassies and departments to process the required formalities relating to visa and residency requests, business licenses and registrations and performs other support functions for the HR team.
Accompanies the staff in required formalities such as medical, finger print and visa cancellation.
Follow ups on each case or request submitted in the respective government offices or embassies and reports back to the section for updates.
Registers Kuwaitis and GCC staff in the social security.
Distributes internal mails or important documents to intended recipients internally or externally.
Requirements:
High School or equivalent education.
Minimum two years working experience in Kuwait.
Good communication skills (Arabic & English).
Transferable visa.

Key Functions:
Manage, plan, organize and direct all employees assigned to improve the overall local operational systems.
Provide local rates for new customers.
Advise the freight coordinator for processing of imports and exports shipments through customs.
To manage eight to ten operations staff.
Advise on key decisions pertaining day-to-day activities for the operations department.
Support the operation staff for processing of reports.
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills-written, spoken – English & preferably Arabic.
Minimum of four years experience within the overall accountability for freight operations, managing smooth product flows.
Ability to coach.
