1. Quantity Surveyor :
Rumaillah Services are looking to appoint a qualified Quantity Surveyor for a prestigious project in Qatar. Applicants are requested to have a minimum of 5 years experience in a Quantity Surveying role within the Construction industry. Experience in interior fitout works and knowledge of FIDIC Conditions of Contract for Construction – The Red Book would be advantageous. A good level of the English language both written and spoken is required.
Requirements :
** Transferrable NOC
** Resident of the State of Qatar
** Immediate start
** Valid Qatar/GCC Driving Licence
Job Requirements :
Duties :
** Cost planning and commerical management during the entire life cycle of a project from commencement to completion.
** Review and be familiar with contract documents, specifically the Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
** Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time and labour.
** Monitoring of the weekly budget.
** Preparation of payment invoices and certification.
** Ensure the profit margin is maintained or enhanced.
** Value engineering.
** Risk Management.
** Procurement advice and assistance during tendering procedures.
** Commerical Management and Contract Administration.
** Assistance in dispute resolution.
** Cost management process.
** Claim the extra cost of design variations.
2. Electrician :
Responsibilities :
1. Main job is to help perform the required task as an electrician for the office fit-out works such as the following :
** Conduiting and trunking
** laying of electrical cables, IT cables
** Install Distribution boards, circuit breakers
** Install all accessories and patches
** Install and terminate all lighting fixtures, small power outlets as well as dismantling them.
** Install 3-way switches, panel switches and the likes.
2. Willing and can do basic carpentry job such as gypsum installer in cases when no electrical work.
Job Requirements :
** Vocational Graduate with TESDA certificate on basic and or advance electricity.
** Must have an experience working as electricians in building constructions
** Can read and interpret all electrical drawings
** Can do some basic calculations and tabulations of loads
** Must have a knowledge in the computation of wires to be used based on the load calculations and circuit run
** Can do basic estimation of materials needed for a particular small project
** Transferrable NOC
** Resident of the State of Qatar
** Good knowledge of the English language both written and spoken
** Immediate start
