Duities and Resposiblities :
1) Develop 5 year strategies
2) Forecast budgets
3) Achieve annual financial goals
4) Create strategic alliances with business partners
5) Insures the company develops strong bonds with the local communities, charitable organizations, and NGO’s in sustainable development in programs
6) Implement and improves safety, security and emergency preparedness
7) Motivates the crew, engaging in their personal development, insuring that the company is the preferred employer in the cruise industry
8) Leads the sales and marketing process to improve sales
9) Serves as the spokesperson of the company
10) Personally responds to passenger feedback, providing acknowledgement and solutions
11) Insures company complies with all legal requirements
12) Stay relevant with the cruise industry by keeping up with changing market trends and creating strategies to stay ahead of the competition
13) Strengthen the brand identity of the company

Report to: Chairman
Direct Reports: Cruise Managers; Captains; Designated Person Ashore

Cruise Manager :
The Cruise Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of the ship insuring overall safety, security, passenger and crew welfare. The cruise manager is the face of the company on the ship and he/she must act in a professional manner executing the vision, mission and core values of the company.
Duties and Responsibilities :
1) Prepares monthly budgets
2) Manages costs
3) Insure operating standards, rules and regulations are maintained on the ships
4) Insures ships safety, security and emergency preparedness
5) Creates a positive and memorable passenger experience
6) Resolves passenger complains
7) Mentors, motivates the crews and resolves crew issues
8) Maintains good relations with local authorities and local community
9) Collaborates with chef to insure an amazing dining experience
10) Collaborates with Tour Guides on fun and safe excursions
11) Collaborates with Captain to insure a smooth sailing
12) Completes all required reports accurately and on a timely basis
13) Communicates clearly and timely with the Corporate Office
14) Conducts daily department briefings
15) Review passenger manifest before the arrival of cruise
16) Provides daily updates to the company
17) Makes ad hoc decisions to improve the passenger experience
