Job Description :
Core Functions :
** Produce and disseminate economic research, provide technical advice and analysis on matters referred to the Department, and supervise the work of staff in the Research Section.

Education & Experience Requirements :
** Master’s degree in economics, finance or policy research related area from a recognized tertiary institution, plus a minimum of three (3) years related experience. Sound knowledge of econometrics.
** Sound knowledge of the domestic and international financial sector.
** Sound knowledge of the domestic regulatory framework.
** Sound project management skills necessary to supervise, plan, integrate, and appraise work in the areas of statistical and economic policy.
** Excellent oral and written communication skills.
** Sound analytical skills.
** Experience with spreadsheet/word processing/database software applications.
** A minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience in economic policy research or similar experience within a Ministry of Finance, central bank, central monetary authority or international agency.
** Sound project management skills necessary to supervise, plan, integrate, and appraise work in the areas of statistical and economic policy.
** Sound human relations skills required to interact with internal management and staff, participate in internal committees and represent the Bank in domestic and international fora and provide guidance to subordinate staff.
** Excellent analytical and forecasting skills and sound judgement required to analyse and interpret economic data, evaluate and develop policy recommendations.

2. Librarian :

Job Description :
Core Functions :
** Selecting, acquiring, cataloguing and classifying the Bank’s library and information resources, in both print and electronic forms.
** Developing library policies and procedures to ensure the smooth functioning of these services.
** Providing input to contracts for library services, materials and equipment, and maintaining relationships with all vendors.
** Overseeing and monitoring the budget for library and information services and maintaining records for payment of invoices.

Education & Experience Requirements :
** Master’s degree in library science or information sciences from a recognized tertiary institution.
** Comprehensive knowledge of the principles and practices of library functions.
** Sound knowledge of integrated library systems, electronic cataloguing systems, and web-based technologies for information searches.
** Sound knowledge of bibliographic database management.
** Proficiency in windows-based software applications (e.g. MS Office Suite).
** Good organizational skills required to ensure efficient operation of the Library.
** Good interpersonal skills are required to provide research and information services to management and staff.
** Excellent verbal and communication skills.
** A minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience in a library within an academic or research institution.
