Business Development Officer :
The Belize Credit Union League (BCUL) invites suitably qualified individuals to apply for the vacant position of Business Development Officer (BDO). The main function of

the BDO will be to develop the overall business of the BCUL with particular focus on the services it provides to member credit unions, and potential services to be provided in response to their needs.

Education and other requirements :
** A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in financial management, accountancy or business management, and at least 5 years of post-qualification experience
** Training development and delivery experience
** A keen business sense and an understanding of financial products and services and credit union development, including a strong focus on the profitability and effectiveness in the delivery of services to client credit unions
** General knowledge of microfinance concepts and principles
** Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written)
** Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
** The ability to function successfully in both team and independent work environments
** Ability to multi-task and proven experience in being pro-active
