Position Details :
CenITex provides a range of project and technical services to Victorian Government departments. Sitting within the Service Operations Group,e Planning, Delivery & Improvement function incorporates the planning, design, development, integration and testing of the IT service, document all necessary information and prepare the IT service for a quality deployment into the production environment.
Position Summary :
As a senior member of the team, this role is responsible for leading a team of Technical Project Managers to deliver both internal and customer projects. Key accountabilities include ensuring sufficient level of staffing and relevant capability for the function. You will review all customer proposals and ensure delivery and support requirements are captured.
Key Accountabilities :
** Lead a team of Technical Project Managers and ensuring sufficient level of staffing and capability for the function
** Act as an escalation point for all Technical Project Managers when issues arise that fall outside normal project escalation paths
** Review all customer proposals and provide feedback where necessary to ensure all delivery and support requirements are captured
** In collaboration with Transition Specialists, champion the use and enhancement of the Service Transition framework
** Identify and implement improvements to the delivery and associated processes.
** Lead the Technical Project Management team in line with CenITex values and group strategy
** Provide management reporting on team performance and levels of process adherence and maturity
About you :
To be successful in this role, you require strong leadership skills and management experience in leading a team of IT professional within a complex multi-sourced IT services environment. Previous roles have allowed you to develop capability in relationship management, conflict resolution and consensus building in high-pressure and demanding situations. . Detailed technical experience and knowledge of complex infrastructure environments will see you assist your team in the successful delivery of large complex projects.
You enjoy providing a high level of customer service and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will utilise both your technical expertise and your passion for technology to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that customer and CenITex goals are met.
