Data Analyst :
Collaborate with research teams to provide data and analysis for a wide variety of projects. Acquire client data and develop subject matter expertise. Use that expertise to ask insightful questions. Prepare datasets supporting development of data products and advanced data analysis. Support execution of prospective experimentation. We’re looking for articulate, insightful, self-motivated individuals with a strong desire to learn and develop keen insight and critical-thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities :
** Write SQL queries, procedures, scripts using SQL Server Management Studio
** Develop deep expertise with client data
** Analyze complex datasets
** Work collaboratively with researchers and analysts
** Be able to articulate what questions can and can’t be answered based on available data
** Develop industry or domain expertise
** Maintain technical skills
Skills / Qualifications :
** Bachelors degree in quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer science, Engineering)
** Masters degree preferred
** Experience writing SQL
** Understanding of data architecture

Junior Researcher/Instructor (Mathematics, Statistics) :
** Want to take what you’ve been learning in Math, start applying it immediately, and further develop your skills for solving complex problems?
** As a researcher at Savvysherpa, you will use Python and other programming languages to apply mathematical algorithms to large data sets to solve business problems for a variety of customers across multiple industries.
** In addition to research, you’ll have the opportunity to teach and mentor a cohort of recent international math graduates to help them develop the same competency.
Skills / Qualifications :
** MS in Mathematics or Statistics,
** Adept at applying Linear Algebra, Optimization, and Mathematical Modeling techniques to solve problems,
** Interested in teaching others and helping them develop new skills
** Experienced with Python (desirable but not required).
** Recent graduates welcome.

Bookkeeper :
Job Description :
** Maintain accurate financial records by processing transactions and verifying results for Savvysherpa. Inc.
Duties :
** Accounts Payable/Receivable coding, posting, and processing
** Resolve account / billing issues
** Reconcile bank and merchant accounts
** Document and maintain intra-company transactions, balances, and inventory transfers
** Assist with inventory control, reporting, and analysis
** Prepare information for external accountants, auditors, and investors
** Collection and remittance of applicable sales tax
** Process expense reports and maintain travel expense balances
** Assist with payroll and hiring processes
** Monitor fixed asset and capital purchases
** Balance general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries
** Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
** Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
Desired Skills/Qualifications :
** Associates degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience, as well as knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles. Preference with strong knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software and experience in supply chain / logistics environment.
