We are seeking a Cisco Unified Communications Specialist to join our team.

The Unified Communications (UC) Specialist will lead the Network Engineering team efforts to design, spec and deploy all UC offerings. The successful candidate will display technical competency, business acumen, client advocacy, and a high level of commitment to achieving the goals and to the principles that guide the company. Current deployments range from small office CME/CUE, to enterprise CUCM 8.X packages and will support our customers in the NY/NJ/CT metro area.

Required Qualifications :
** Minimum of 3 years of hands on experience with the Cisco Unified Communications product suite including : Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco Unified Presence, Cisco Unified Contact Center Express and Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express
** Current CCNA required. CCVP or CCNP Voice Certifications are preferred
** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or similar

Functions and Responsibilities :
** Provide technical sales support for Account Managers and develop solution proposals for customers based on their technical and business requirements. Solution proposals may consist of Bill of Materials generation, detailed Visio designs, Scope of Work, and other documentation
** Act as a prime point of contact with the customer for all technical issues during the all pre-sales phases including addressing design and proposed integration concerns
** Develop comprehensive Unified Communications designs
** Lead Unified Communications deployments and direct team of project engineers
** Create detailed Pre-Sales and As-Built technical documentation and diagram sets

** Must be able to work well in a collaborative fashion, and equally be able to work solo with limited supervision and project oversight
** Interpersonal skills allowing you to interact effectively with executive, engineers, vendors, sales people and peers
** Excellent customer-facing communication skills
** Strong attention to detail and multitasking capabilities
** Ability to prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and have a sense of urgency
** Prior experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment
