Mechanical Engineer (UAE National)
Department: Engineering

Job purpose:
Provide technical support to operations and maintenance to ensure rotating machinery is operated and maintained in a manner that optimizes lifespan, efficiency and operating costs.
Key responsibilities:
** Contribute to DUSUP’s continuous improvement in HSE performance by ensuring safety and environmental standards are followed within the workplace.
** Assist in the development, monitoring and maintenance of database for vital operating parameters and verify that machinery is performing and used in the most efficient and optimum manner.
** Assist in providing recommendations / solutions in the event of operating problems and anomalies.
** Ensure service intervals are maximized without reducing equipment integrity or adversely impacting DUSUP’s environmental policies.
** Provide the Scope of Work for rotating equipment maintenance activities as and when required.
** Ensure correct type and quantities of spare parts are requisitioned for new equipment.
** Assist in rotating equipment upgrades/modifications to improve efficiency, adjust to current operating parameters, changing process conditions etc.
** Assist in development of preventative maintenance programs to ensure maximum reliability and availability.
** Track the reliability and availability of Margham critical rotating equipment.
** Monitor all the rotating machines by updating the condition monitoring reports and help in providing a response to maintenance if required.
** Assist in trouble shooting of rotating equipment.
** Involve in major equipment maintenance activities.
** Involve in the testing and commissioning phase of new projects.
** Involve in handling of Projects and FCPs related to mechanical engineering. Environmental standards are followed within the workplace.

Instrument Technician (UAE Nationals only)

Reporting to: Instrument Supervisor
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Margham Plant
Job purpose :
Perform all instrumentation maintenance activities for DUSUP facilities, aiming at optimal availability, reliability and cost optimization. Ensure that the highest safety and environmental standards are maintained.
Key responsibilities :
** Perform instrumentation maintenance activities associated with process plant, gas turbine drivers, high pressure gas re-injection compressors, high pressure well site equipment, terminal and ship loading facilities.
** Implement effective equipment maintenance so as to ensure maximum reliability, availability and safety for DUSUP facilities.
** Provide technical expertise to ensure that all equipment / material purchases meet with actual job requirements and necessary standards.
** Develop maintenance procedures and job scopes for inclusion in computerized maintenance system.
** Liaise with operations, other maintenance groups and contractors for new projects, modifications, substitution of old equipment etc.
** Perform analysis and diagnosis to provide solutions to instrumentation problems.
** Ensure materials used are in accordance with specifications.
** Analyze plant maintenance activities; recommend modifications to improve the reliability and availability of the equipment.
** Maintain familiarity with current safety regulations, standards and best working practices within the industry.
Requirements : (Qualifications/Experience/Competencies)
** Diploma in Control Instrumentation or other appropriate field with 5 years post certificate maintenance experience in oil/gas industry OR an Instrumentation apprenticeship with 10 to15 years of oil and gas field experience.,
** Knowledge of Allen Bradley / Rockwell ControlLogix, DeviceNet, ControlNet, PLC programming and HMI configuration of RS-View in process control applications would be an advantage as would knowledge of Honeywell Experion DCS / FSC.
** Good analytical skills.
** Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
** IT/PC literate.
