AV Technicians : (Dubai & Abu Dhabi)
AV Techs are responsible for delivering a superior quality audio visual service that goes beyond customer expectations by utilising their technical knowledge & hospitality skills. Working to assist the Project Manager, this position is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service across the full spectrum of technical disciplines.

The successful candidate would have a keen eye for detail and a concern for delivering a high quality event for the client.

You would work alongside all crew (including freelancers) with respect to all aspects of a presentation including installation, rehearsal, show and pack down, applying working knowledge of all equipment, its application, cabling requirements and likely problem areas.

Essential Requirements :
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
Highly developed customer service skills
Maturity to deal with people at all levels of the organization
Ability to work under pressure and have a logical approach to fault finding
Excellent grooming and presentation
Experience working in venues

Flight Case Production Manager :
Our in-house production facility manufactures a variety of products principally flight cases using semi-rigid foams. This position involves overseeing the design and build of timber, wood laminated sheets and aluminum extrusions using a range of woodworking and metal cutting equipment.

Experience in a similar role and knowledge of a CNC Machine and CAD are essential for this role.

Head of Video :
The role requires an experienced individual with the ambition to build and lead a department with a reputation for delivering quality video and graphics solutions to the top client list that is attracted to the broader Gearhouse LLC offering.

Leading a team of initially six and managing a multi-million dollar investment, the recruitment, training and guidance of a multinational team of staff will be critical to the day to day role of the department manager. The individual must have the ability to work calmly under pressure and to inspire his colleagues to act in the same manner.

AV Area Manager : Venue Services
Based at our head office in Dubai, the Area Manager is responsible for the overall management and profitability of a cluster of 5 star venues in Dubai and Abu Dhabi with an emphasis on providing superior customer service.
The Area Manager – Venue Services acts as the primary liaison with the Project Managers and the Venues Management team to handle any issues or opportunities.

The ideal candidate will display passion for the events industry and have 5+ years of management experience (Hospitality / Technical. Ideally they will be educated to degree level.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
Competent project management skills including budget management.
Experience to continue to develop the venue presence within the region.
Ability to lead, support and assist in the development of the teams within the venues.
Experience with equipment rental software, excellent computer skills and knowledge of computer based drawing packages such as CAD or Vectorworks is required.\
Excellent multi-tasker with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Great communication skills and a high level of customer service are imperative.

Project Managers : (Dubai)
Experienced client facing individuals with a broad technical knowledge are required for this role.
You will be responsible for delivering, managing and maintaining new and existing business across the company’s contracts and client base.

This Project Manager will be the primary contact for day-to-day transactions and is responsible for overall customer service delivery and operations on-site.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5yrs’ experience of working within the concert, corporate or venue environment.

Venue AV Project Manager : (Dubai & Abu Dhabi)
With multiple moving parts the Venue Manager will be responsible for a wide range of deliverables including corporate functions, awards nights, nightclubs, festivals and gala dinners. You will need to be creative and resourceful to be successful within this role. Responsible for a team of dedicated team members and any number of contractors, you will need to deliver, manage and maintain new and existing business within a busy venue. As the primary contact for day-to-day transactions you will be responsible for the overall customer service delivery and performance onsite.
The role is challenging and the successful candidate must have a good understanding of both AV service delivery, margin performance and a sound technical knowledge.

Key Roles and Responsibilities :
To field enquiries from potential or existing clients and ensure an accurate brief is obtained from the client
All jobs to be costed on our budgeting systems and through the use of our project tracking system.
Briefs to be sent to clients in an appropriate and standardised format within timescale agreed with client
Purchase orders to be completed and passed to Administration for approval and ensure that written confirmation of payment terms have been received from the client.
To co-ordinate with Operations Director to decide all crewing, equipment and logistic issues on allocated jobs
Brief the Technical staff with the elements of the show and supply a hard copy of the proposal/brief. This to include: – rig and de-rig times, layout of set/room, rehearsal times, show times, refreshment times, contact names and telephone numbers of venue and client and individual crew responsibilities on site.
PM to liaise with other contractors or sub-contractors employed by Client to ensure that their show element is correctly integrated and on schedule.
To ensure crew are adhering to the grooming and presentation standards set by the company and that Health and Safety standards are met at all times.
To attend each event that you are directly involved with and liase with the client on site in order to deliver a high quality event for them.
To follow-up with the client after the event to ensure the project was delivered to their satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will display a passion for the events industry and have 3+ years relevant events experience, i.e. in a venue or agency. Ideally they will be educated to degree level, have excellent customer service skills and a high standard of personal grooming and presentation.
