This position presents a unique opportunity for someone interested in a stable position with a reduced working schedule. In this position you will be a key element of our finance organization working a flexible 4 days a week. The Accounts Payable Finance Analyst provides general confidential accounting support for the organization and possesses a good understanding of the full Accounts Payable cycle.

Additionally you will :
** Complete accounts payable duties such as matching supplier invoices to packing slips and purchase orders. Verifying general ledger account codes and posting of accounts payable.
** Ensure timely and accurate submission of employee expense reports.
** Prepare cheques for distribution and EFT Payments as approved by the Controller.
** Maintain and file vendor invoices.
** Prepare miscellaneous non-inventory Purchase Orders.
** Be responsible for applying cash receipts and preparing daily bank deposits.
** Assist in month end activities as required.
** Assist in quarter & year end and quarterly audit activities as required.
** Support other members of the team as required during vacations or absences

Education Required :
Post secondary accounting courses or equivalent combination of relevant job experience and training.

Experience and Other Requirements :
** Minimum one (1) year experience in an accounting position
** SAP experience would be a MAJOR asset, and is preferred
** Working knowledge of accounting software systems
** Well-developed analytical capabilities.
** Strong written and verbal communication skills.
** Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
