Delphi Developer :
IRESS offers you an opportunity to learn the inner workings of the stock market – how it works, what traders actually do and the technical building blocks that holds it all together behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities :
** Assess business requirements presented by the business team
** Understand the scope of work, plan the deliverables and give accurate timelines based on product knowledge, complexity and technology
** Develop and maintain new and existing products using Delphi and SQL Server
** Write code which is readable, efficient, complies with original requirements and follows best practices and are well documented
** Interact with QA surrounding testing, deployment and building processes
** Identify risks and propose effective solutions
** Effectively manage time and projects
** Interpret and understand legacy code
** Provide clear and detailed release notes to QA Team
** Provide clear written feedback on the cause of production problems and explain how the problems will be resolved
** Liaise with manager on code changes and work priorities
** Examine and modify existing applications and systems programs to take into account changes in systems requirements and software releases

Key Competencies :
Experience in the following will be beneficial :
** SCRUM development framework
** Financial Markets
** C++ knowledge

Knowledge And Skills :
Must have at 5 years’ experience in :
** Multithreaded, Multitiered (3+ tiers) applications
** Delphi & Object Orientated Programming and Design
** SQL and relational data bases, especially SQL Server
** Must have an IT Degree or Diploma
