Electrical Technician :
The Role:
Our operational team run a highly honed production environment with a keen focus on continual improvement, efficiencies and smart processes to support our internal staff and customers. If you can demonstrate meeting production targets, quality documentation and performance efficiency from your previous industrial electrical work experience then we’d love to meet you.
Working within our Electronics Production department this hands on role will see you taking responsibility for completeness and quality of electrical projects to agreed standards, including
** Tidy looming and securing of light and heavy wiring
** Working to specifications for parts assembly
** Electrical analysis and identification of wiring faults
** Installation of electrical wiring on our machines
Who you are:
We are seeking a talented multitasker who is happy to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in to get the job completed on time whilst handling changing priorities with a smile. Attention to detail and a pride in producing quality results will come naturally to you.
Our ideal candidate will also offer:
** Experience in electrical/industrial control panel wiring (either internships or postgrad)
** Good knowledge of reading wiring diagrams
** Good understanding of electrical wiring and control circuits
** Tertiary qualification in electrical engineering
** Familiar with AS/NZS 3000:2000 requirements and applications
** Familiar with UL508A and NEC requirements and applications
If you can also offer a current NZ practicing electrician’s licence that would be ideal however we can support the perfect person to achieve this.

Working 4 x 10hr days (Mon-Thurs) each week, means you have long weekends to have fun!
Overtime is frequently available.
