Avaya IP Office Engineer : Ref – E01
There is now a requirement for an Avaya IP Office Engineer to join the team. We are looking for someone that is hard working, efficient and has great attention to detail, you must be able to work well under pressure and you will have the following :
** Minimum 3 years Avaya IP Office installation and maintenance experience.
** IP Office accredited.
** Excellent communication skills both orally and written are prerequisite.
In addition you will have an in-depth technical working knowledge of all of the following :
** WAN/LAN and associated IP technologies
** Networks (Configuration, monitoring and fault finding – routers and switches, patching)
** VoIP Telephone Systems.
** SIP Trunks.
A good working knowledge of the following would be advantageous :
** Hosted Phone Systems.
** Firewalls.
** Experience in fault finding on both traditional telephony cabling and structured wiring systems.
** Broadband technologies and connectivity.
** Avaya Definity/CM.
This is an interesting and varied role involving field based support and maintenance, remote diagnostics and moves and changes, installation & commissioning, together with office based Technical Support responsibilities.

The role would suit a hardworking, dedicated & motivated Avaya IP Office engineer who wants to further develop their career within a dynamic and ambitious Avaya / IP Telephony specialist company. Ideally you would be located in Essex, although the successful candidate will be required to travel to client sites around the UK
