Applications Training & Support Engineer :
We have an immediate requirement for a CAD/CAM/PLM Support & Training Engineer. Providing product training & support for CAD and PLM both within the office and at customer sites.

Our track record as a CAD/CAM/PLM Reseller in the UK is unrivalled and our continued growth means that we have immediate requirements for a CAD/CAM/PLM Support & Training Engineer.
Position :
Reporting to the Technical Manager you will be responsible for working as part of the technical team. Our Applications Engineers are responsible for training, implementations and support activities.
You will be working with a broad range of customers who use CAD/CAM/PLM to design and manage their products. The mix of activities will depend on the candidate’s skills & experience
** Providing product training for CAD and PLM both within the office and at customer sites.
** Providing front-line technical Support over telephone & internet.
** Supporting the sales team where possible to deliver on technical requirements.
** Demonstrating products to existing & prospective customers.
Essentials :
** A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working with 3D CAD/CAM
** Use of Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, Outlook.
** Ability to multi task
** Willingness to be flexible and to travel as required
** Ability to operate as a team player
** Graduate / HND / or equivalent qualified.
** Current Driving License.
Desirable / Beneficial :
** Ideally 3 years of experience in industry designing mechanical products.
** Previous experience of CAD training would be an advantage, though not essential.
** Applicants with knowledge and/ or experience of Creo Parametric (Pro E), Windchill, Inventor, SolidWorks, SolidEdge, or Mathcad would be of interest.
** Alternatively those with direct experience of delivering hands on training of CAD software, without experience of hands on support within a commercial environment, would also be of interest.
