A leading medical marketing & sales company prominent in a variety of healthcare sectors since 1960,is seeking to recruit exceptionally qualified & experienced medical representatives with a verifiable track record of not less than three years and holding a pharmaceutical or medical degree, preferably from an accredited Lebanese University.

Consumables Sales Rep :
A field sales-based position requiring a senior level of technical aptitude. Manage sales processes in assigned geography in accordance with approved sales and marketing plans. Understand and use product features, benefits and applications along with selling and business-building skills to successfully promote and consummate the sale of products and services to achieve or exceed the assigned territory sales plan. Serve as a driver of business development at assigned major customer call points to penetrate and grow current and new business. Become recognised as a technical leader within the sales force.
Essential Functions :
PLAN PERFORMANCE AND SALES SKILLS :
** Apply working knowledge of Professional, Consultative, and Strategic Selling skills to maintain existing business, develop incremental business in existing accounts, and conduct cold calls to develop new accounts.
** Demonstrate use of selling skills in the field, such as making good opening statements, connecting with the customer, asking high gain questions, creating the value proposition and closing.
** Participate in sales training programs as presented by the company to develop appropriate selling skills consistent with the Company philosophy, policies and procedures.
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT :
** Call on all organizational levels and functional areas within assigned account which influence purchasing decisions.
** Develop, write, and execute a strategic business plan for managing assigned territory annually, updated quarterly.
** Develop presentations and customer proposals for such things as supply agreements, supply contracts and preferred vendor agreements with assistance from RM, Marketing and/or Technical Sales Specialist
** Maintain and increase current customer database through Company customer relations management software (Siebel CRM). Use system completely to fulfill management expectations recording and utilizing customer and sales information.
COMMUNICATION, WRITTEN AND ORAL :
** Provide regularly oral and written communication of successes, failures, best practices etc to improve the overall operating efficiency of the team, region and sales organization.
** Contact and return calls to research scientists at all accounts for sales presentations, information through telephone, e-mail or personal visits daily
** Prepare and deliver monthly FSMR to the District Manager by the due date.
TIME MANAGEMENT :
** Field travel as necessary (approx. 4 days per week)
** Generally academic and government accounts require approximately 5-8 consultative sales calls per day depending on the nature of the territory with approximately 4 field days per week.
** Generally industrial accounts require approximately 4-6 consultative calls per day with 4 field days per week.
TECHNICAL COMPREHENSION :
** Provide product and other relevant information to customers via daily phone contact and personal visits for all aspects of IVGN business to generate sales.
** Utilise excellent level of product knowledge and applications to successfully conduct effective consultative selling presentations.
** Utilise knowledge of existing and potential customer status regarding Company and competitors’ products in selling presentations.
Education:
** Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field; or the equivalent knowledge and experience.
Experience:
** Requires a minimum 3 years of related work experience (lab and sales experience preferred). In-depth knowledge of Cell Culture and Molecular Biology is required.
** Knowledge of accounts in GCC preferred.
** Experience with customer contact, teaching or public speaking helpful.
** Experience of IVGN and ABIproducts helpful.
** Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, or like programs helpful.

Field Service Engineer :
Position Objective :
** Delivers professional Service activities (installation and associated training, maintenance, reparation, assistance etc.) in order to provide an optimum Service support to all the local customers to achieve loyalty.
** Contributes to achieve specific Service related targets as defined for revenues, profit, service order volume, etc. – while complying with internal rules and practices.
** Acts within general Service policies, business processes and procedures (PPP) and local procedures and rules.
Essential Functions :
** Performs service activities within guidelines and in compliance with internal & customer procedures and regulations. This means mainly: Installs, repairs, maintenance and instruction of use of instruments to ensure safe and effective customer operations.
** Provides responsive telephone and on-site support and generally work to ensure that customer is successful in the use of Life Technologies Instrumentation.
** Assures the professional relationship with existing customers to achieve customer loyalty to our company.
** Utilization of the Escalation Procedure as appropriate.
** Assures own related asset management including spare parts stock, company car, telephone, tools, software and computers, calibrations, literature etc.
** Coordinates own work schedule with relevant partners (service coordinator, team leader, colleagues). Produces timely and accurate reports of the own activities as appropriate: i.e. engineer reports, planned maintenance reports, installation reports, expense reports etc. (via e-mail or written)
** Assures that its own activities are in line with the activities of the rest of the local commercial organization (sales & support) and informs customers of company’s other product and services.
Education:
** Professional background in engineering, electronics, clinical engineering, life science or related subjects.
** Troubleshooting knowledge and experience.
** Computer literate.
** Good verbal and written command of the English (technical) language.
Experience/Requirements:
** Past experience in a relevant service function and remote field based on-site work
** Experience in Clinical Engineering desired
Working Conditions:
** Willingness to travel through Middle East (&Africa and Europe) (50% – 75%)
** Valid passport holder
** Driving license is required.

Instruments Sales Rep :
Purpose:
** Responsible for the sale on assigned product portfolio (Instruments and associated Consumables) in the stated geographic territory in a manner that positively reflects the Company image.
** Achieve sales targets, both quarterly and annually.
** Provide the company with relevant market information for the development of strategies on products.
** Impact directly upon the sales of products now and the future.
Major Responsibilities :
** Competes for all existing, and develops new, sales opportunities within the territory to meet or exceed plan. Specific focus on assigned set of big revenue accounts.
** Ensures that all necessary resources needed are used efficiently and effectively in order to close sales in favour of the Company.
** Maintain and develop customer relationship on the short and long term. Focus on the strategic development of key accounts by implementing and updating Account Planning (cross-functions).
** Monitor and align small accounts growth together with Inside sales Rep. Help on implementing account specific B-2-B solutions.
** Gathers, analyses and delivers information from the field to allow the company to develop strategies and products appropriate to the market. Information does include forecasting and lost order reporting as well as competitive information.
** Provides direct information on client needs to market and design together account specific promotion, seminars and exhibitions to support strategic goals on a tactical basis.
** Participate actively in local networks of service, support, customer services, marketing and finance to maximize area performance.
** Update and maintain the CRM (Siebel) tool to ensure full transparency of customer information across the organisation.
** Work closely with Consumable Sales counterparts and Technical Sales Counterparts to drive incremental business.
Skills/Experience Required :
** Sound technical and product knowledge.
** Excellent professional selling, negotiation and communication skills.
** Effective interpersonal skills and ability to interact with AB colleagues at all levels.
** Willing to travel in the assigned territory and occasionally in Europe or in USA.
** Full valid driver licence.
Education/Qualifications :
** May hold an academic degree (BSc) or has equivalent level of experience in Life Sciences. A PhD is considered desirable.
** Broad experience in sales function, preferibly in a related industry
