MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB :
To interpret and co-ordinate information and details received from Company and Project sources to compile manuals, drawings and associated documents.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY :
1. Ability to read / understand structural GA drawings / fabrication drawings
2. Knowledge of shop floor fabrication activities / preparation of cutting plan
3. Basic knowledge in different type structural steel material and its codes / standards of ASTM / ASME
4. Basic knowledge about the requirement of fabrication tools / tackles
5. Basic knowledge in fabricated members handling / storing management
6. Set production targets to the individual fabrication foremen / fabricators
7. To ensure that the work is carried out according to the requirements in the method statement
8. Experience in as-built and completion of modified structural members
9. Skills in computer applications(excel/word/email) and English oral & writing
10. Under-standing of HSE requirements
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :
Essential:
** A technical certificate with minimum 6 years of experience in supervising a team of technical work force

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB :
To monitor the construction process to ensure all requirements of construction, fabrication and final product are met in accordance with Company procedures and international codes of practice.
JOB OBJECTIVES :
1. To monitor Welder performance and conduct visual inspections of welds and repairs of welds in accordance with Company procedures and international codes of practice.
2. To check, inspect and test incoming welding and construction materials to ensure they meet project specification requirements.
3. To monitor the construction process from all aspects to ensure performance meets job quality and design requirements in accordance with Company procedures and international standards.
4. To coordinate with clients to undertake Procedure Qualification Tests (PQT) and inspections of prepared test specimens and witness destructive tests.
5. To identify and prepare Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) & PQR for jobs as per project specifications and verify Welders meet PQR requirements.
6. To collate all relevant documentation for the job and apply the data to the creation of a Test Pack to undertake prehydro test inspection activity.
7. To undertake verification of welding machines to ensure equipment meets job requirements specification and provide verification of electrode baking and holding temperature including control and issue.
8. To conduct fit up and dimension inspections as per Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and to provide technical guidance for welding sequence and distortion control.
9. To survey erection, construction and equipment for alignment and plumbness in accordance with drawings and specifications.
10. To prepare all equipment punch lists and verify all items are in place and act as an agent for the Company during punch list activity.
